Overview
Cliift started out as a simple Zapier extension for Shopify to distribute gift cards to end-users. eventually the business requirements evolved to have in-store balance to allow business to manage and distribute credit to their employees - all while ensuring compliance with French regulations about gift card allocations.
CeladonWorks helped with taking the platform to the next level. this meant creating a balance to be managed across 2 stores: Cliift Enterprise and Cliift Beneficiary. creating an administrator dashboard to view the bulk of the accounts in the system and effectuate day-to-day operational changes.
One dashboard to manage everything
Cliift’s business domain having a dashboard to view and manage all the custom elements on top of Shopify is a must. from the day to day customer support operations to the periodic analytical and accounting audits. the dashboard has a multitude of features:
- Complete transactions trail for each enterprise and employee
- Analytics for key metrics about the platform health
- Dashboard user management with granular access
- Basic money handle operations: topups, refunds…
- Managing all the gift card Providers on the platform
- PDF editor for each gift card on the platform
Behind every great experience - a robust API
To delivery a great user and developer experience, having a solid documentation is a must. Cliift has over 80 HTTP endpoints all documented with their input payload and possible response status codes and corresponding payload (if any). the documentation serves as a corner stone for the day-to-day maintenance of the application and planning of future features.
